A PATIENT-FIRST APPROACH TO ENDODONTIC CARE

Dr. Jaclyn Cruz was born and raised in the Hudson Valley, NY. Dr. Cruz attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY, where she graduated with her dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. After graduation, Dr. Cruz was selected to attend her first-choice dental school, the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D. degree. While at Penn Dental, Dr. Cruz found a passion for research and endodontics. She decided to continue her education in the field by pursuing a two-year post-doctoral residency at the world-renowned Post Graduate Speciality Program in Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, where she was awarded a Speciality Certificate in Endodontics.

After completing her post-doctoral training, Dr. Cruz moved back to Pennsylvania, where she currently resides with her husband and is the practice owner of Elite Endodontics, previously known as Endodontic Specialty Practice. Dr. Cruz continues to expand her credentials by continuing to be an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Cruz is now eligible for her Endodontic Board Certification and is working towards becoming Board Certified. Her goal of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics is to demonstrate her exceptional knowledge, skill, dedication to continued professional growth, and commitment to providing the highest quality patient care.

Dr. Cruz is extremely passionate about endodontics and makes it her mission to use the most up-to-date research and technology to treat her patients. She is known for her gentle and calm chairside manner and sees patients of all ages. Her priority is to always make her procedures as relaxing and comfortable as possible for all her patients. When Dr. Cruz is not actively working in her office, she spends quality time with her friends and family back home in New York and Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she is part of a dental study club where she shares her knowledge of endodontics with fellow dentists in the community. Her hobbies include cooking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching Philadelphia sports teams with her husband.
