Root canal treatment steps at Elite Endodontics

Consultation - Dr. Cruz uses advanced diagnostic imaging and clinical findings to present treatment options and prognoses, with local anesthesia if root canal treatment is chosen.
Disinfection & Filling - Once you’re fully numbed and at ease, Dr. Cruz gently removes the infection within your tooth. She starts by creating a small opening to thoroughly disinfect the interior before sealing the canals with biocompatible materials. Finally, a temporary filling is placed on the chewing surface to protect your tooth until a permanent restoration can be placed.
Post-Treatment - Once your root canal therapy is complete, Dr. Cruz recommends seeing your general dentist within 30 days for a permanent restoration.
